Purse pull tag broke what to do?

In August I got this gorgeous purse (see link) but the tasselled pull came off last week and I now just have the metal bit (small and a bit tricky to pull).

I don't think I kept the receipt so should I buy a new purse from them (I love it!) or email the company about it. Would they do anything? It's a fab purse by the way!

thanks!

Def email them. It's too quick for the bag to break. I'd be looking for them to either repair, replace or refund as per statutory rights.

Depends how it broke - if you got something caught in the zip and had to yank it, that's tough luck (and buy a small key ring or charm to replace the puller)

Families no it just came off. I've lost receipt so no point going back. so the manufacturer should really sort it I would have thought...

Already another friend wants one for her Christmas present but if they break that easily I'm loathe to buy it...

No it should be the retailer who sorts it - your purchase was a contract between them and you, not the manufacturer.

what do i do if lost receipt? I may have it - I think it's in the pile to be shredded. Alternatively it's on my credit card statement

Proof of purchase should be enough AFAIK, so your credit card proof might do.

Problem is trims are often not included in warranties - daft imo, but common. Definitely go back to the retailer though, they should certainly try and do something about it to keep custom.
