"Loungewear"

I have an idea that I'd like some proper loungewear to wear in the evenings at home. Not nightclothes, something I could answer the door in. Soft, cosy, decent quality. If trousers could be not ugly that would be a bonus. DH has a perfect sort of hoodie which is Ralph Lauren but I've looked on line and I'm not keen on the branding. I'm not sure where to start looking though. Can anyone help?

I got some Rosie Huntington for M and S pjs that are like sloppy tees and loose leggings in black, and charcoal fray. With a nice cardigan they are very comfortable and acceptable for answering the door in. They feel lovely and don't need ironing.

Whole new idea

pj jeans

Matalan has some cosy jogging bottoms and hoodies

I've got some DKNY stuff from John Lewis - have a look. I've got the tunic thing which is just so comfy. It's not cheap but worth it

The White Company have lots - recommended them for knitwear yesterday so should be on commission really!

I got a pair of trousers and a couple of tops from Landsend Starfish Collection. They are still going strong so I'm still wearing them, but are completely the wrong colour for me.

White Company. Their roll top
Jersey trousers are fabulously comfortable. Long sleeved tops with elastane, ditto. I also just got the white Henley sleep tee and don't eat to take it off
Have just ordered a Boden hoody to cosy up in too.

Want not eat! Damn you autocorrect

I just bought a load of stuff from Gap in the sale - nice cosy oversized sweatshirts in grey and blue, a few t-shirts and their modal pants. The pure body leggings are good too. Got my eye on their pj sets, they're lovely!

def gap. tons of loungey stuff

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 29/10/2014 16:37

I find that so-called 'lounge pants' go really baggy on the knees and flappy on the ankles, even good quality stuff eg White Company. So now I've succumbed to lounging around in black leggings, a long-line vest and a long, bum-covering cardigan.

We have some tartan trousers from Fat Face that are fantastic comfy to lay around in but you could get away with popping to the shop in them if you wanted as they are quite decent.
