Funeral panic

Having ordered a suitable black dress with next day delivery on Saturday, it still hasn't turned up despite them promising it'd be here today. I travel tomorrow so unless it turns up in the next 3 hours I will need to pop into the city tomorrow and buy a replacement.

Having looked online all I seem to be able to see is sleeveless shift dresses(not with my body shape) and party frocks. Anyone got any suggestions for something? I'm a 14-16, G cup, 5 ft 9 and in my mid 30s and going absolutely spare :(

Not got a fortune to spend, the one I ordered was from Sainsburys. I can't seem to link it because it's in beta. It's knee length, long sleeved and fairly high neck in a jersey fabric with a kind of belt.

Sorry this is another problem at a tricky time. Would you consider looking in a charity shop? We have loads near us and I recently counted more than dozen plain black skirts in the Marie Curie shop.

I love charity shop stuff, was just not relishing a mad dash around many shops tomorrow. Blooming Yodel :(

If it doesn't come by tomorrow lunchtime have you got time to go to Sainsburys or similar? Our Sainsburys has quite a large clothing department - you'd be bound to pick up something there. Even if you don't like it that much it'll suffice for the funeral.

Or even nip out this evening. You can always return what you don't wear ?

I might try catching a bus to the one that does clothing in the morning before I leave and hope that it has something. I have a vague memory there's a Next or something around that way too :s

Is there nothing in your wardrobe that you could wear at a push? Dark skirt/trousers?
