To like santoro gorjuss bags? I'm 33 and I feel like I'm too old now to like cute and girly things. Are things like this just for teens and younger women? Having a bit of an age crisis at the moment , just feel like an old mum Hmm

Ooh. I really like them!
For what it's worth, I'm 43 and don't feel like an old mum! :-)
Get one. (before they sell out)

herecomesthsun · 28/10/2014 02:22

At 33 you're not too old for anything?

hellsbellsmelons · 28/10/2014 09:36

No way are you too old.
33 is 'spring chicken' age to me!
You do what you want, get what you want and wear what you want.
I'm the wrong side of 45 and don't feel like an old mum.

mowglik · 28/10/2014 09:39

Haha I just turned 35 and this was on my birthday list - my sil got me the slouchy 'the foxes' bag.. It is a bit young but I love it and will use it when out for shopping/lunch etc

Bunbaker · 28/10/2014 09:44

I had to google them - they aren't my cup of tea either, but if you want one buy it.

I am 55 and would look ridiculous with one IMO.

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 28/10/2014 09:51

I have one of the purses, the cats with umbrellas and the cherry blossom on the trees.

Bought it just under a year ago and you can barely see the design on it now it's so faded and appears to have completely disappeared in some places.

I'm 32 btw. I hope the bags don't fade like the purses do. It's only been in my handbag and taken out while paying for shopping!

Thanks for the replies ladies, mow the foxes one is lovely isn't it? Going to put one on my santa list now Wink

My mil just bought me one of the key rings. I was a bit confused as it's not the kind of thing she'd buy but then she said it was because the girl looked like me. Hmm Grin

If you like them, why the heck not.

burnishedsilver · 29/10/2014 09:31

I had to look up what they are. They're for little girls. 13 would be too old imho.

SuperFlyHigh · 29/10/2014 09:32

If you really like them then why not. They scream teenager at me though.

Bunbaker · 29/10/2014 09:47

They scream little girl at me.

dexter73 · 29/10/2014 09:51

They are obviously made for women as they are quite expensive but the pictures on them are very childish.

dexter73 · 29/10/2014 09:52

Actually I think they are a little bit creepy rather than childish!!

TripTrapTripTrapOverTheBridge · 29/10/2014 09:52

They aren't for little girls!!!!

SuperFlyHigh · 29/10/2014 09:57

dexter - are they sort of anime style (the Japanese cartoon stuff) or am I getting the name totally wrong?!

dexter73 · 29/10/2014 09:59

I don't know, I'm not into that sort of thing. I think they are creepy because they have no mouths or noses.

AmeliaPeabody · 29/10/2014 10:00

I've seen these before, and no, I don't think so. And following on from what triptrap said, I'm not convinced they're aimed at very young girls anyway.

This one is lovely

Mampire · 29/10/2014 10:01

They're a bit weird imo but if you want one, buy one!

SuperFlyHigh · 29/10/2014 10:02

Amelia that is nice actually. I'm with Dexter the faces with no mouths aren't my cup of tea but they don't creep me out either.

goingmadinthecountry · 29/10/2014 10:12

You're not too old. I'd laugh if one of my friends had one because I think they are pretty vile, but my judgement would be nothing to do with age.

Tiny100 · 29/10/2014 10:20

In answer to your question, yes!

The way they have spelt their name Gorjuss, just adds to the little girl image too and really bugs me. Sorry.

AtrociousCircumstance · 29/10/2014 10:22

You should get one if you want one, age be damned! It's just a bag, do what you like.

However to me they send the message: I'm an ickle-wickle baby girl, pwease protect me...

Which is why I find them creepy/inappropriate. But that's just my opinion, you're a grown up woman who can haul around whichever bag she chooses.

AmeliaPeabody · 29/10/2014 10:31

The spelling, gorjuss, bugs me too, Tiny Grin
