Work clothes - high street

I'm looking for a fitted shirt for work. I want to wear it with trousers, not tucked in, so needs to be the right shape & length for that.

I've found lots available to order online but I want to be able to go and try it on then buy it this week. Also not to expensive!

Any ideas where to look?
Thanks in advance

*TOO expensive!
Should also add, it's for an interview. Usual work clothes are quite casual so wouldn't usually wear a shirt, hence not knowing where to look.

I got a lovely fitted plain white blouse from Sainsburys. About £12ish I believe. In fact, I've got two as I like them so much!

Next and M&S usually have this kind of stuff.

Thanks for your suggestions. I'm going to call in to Next tomorrow. Just seen this on Sainsburys website: www.sainsburys-live-well-for-less.co.uk/tu-clothing/products/women/patterned-peplum-top/
I know this shape suits me but is the pattern too busy for an interview?

I think that would be fine with plain trousers/ skirt.

I like the broadcloth shirts at Uniqlo. Beautiful sheen, despite being ~75% cotton. They are £30. The Oxford ones aren't as finely woven, or as fitted, but are £15.

Also, H&M do some for ~ £12.

If you are near a TM Lewin, I would look there. Ditto Hawes & Curtis and Banana Republic.

Good luck!
