My Dsis has just announced she is getting married in December, very small affair only 20 of us including children. Service and meal will be in the same room within the same building, think old building but newly renovated so hopefully not cold and drafty! There will be the ceremony, lunch and then hopefully just some relaxing in the lounge on the sofas beside the bar Grin
But . . ..
what the hell do I wear!!!! I am her witness so want to feel special (obviously not bride special) and not let her down.
I am 38, size 16 (although now obv dieting like crazy as 7 wks to go!) and about 5ft 6in. My tummy, bum and thighs have a life of their own so if they could be "disguised/eliminated" that would be even better! Budget probably only £130 ish total inc shoes, bag etc. Also need clothes for my 3 kids but that's a whole different issue Smile

What's your usual style? 50's glam would suit your figure. What colours do you tend to go for?

Eliza J have some gorgeous dresses that I think would be very flattering.

Well I tend to live in jeans as live in the country and its usually pretty windy! But I always feel more comfortable in skirts and would love to wear dresses more often than I do but I have trouble finding casual enough ones. For work I wear trousers and blouse (v v boring). If I have the choice day to day I wear straight leg jeans with flats, a top (not tight) and a wee cardi (have several in varying colours, tend to not leave the house without one on) over the top - god that sounds dire written down.

I always tend towards red/pinks/corals as am quite pale, hair is a mousy brown colour (but will hopefully have blonder highlights by dec!) My husband prefers me in blues/turquoises but he is a big fan of everything blue so i'm not totally sure of his reasoning lol
