Had my highlights done this morning. Same place I have been going to for a while but had slightly different colours. It looks very warm/yellowy, do purple shampoos make that much difference? Or do I need to go back?

I would go back - you probably need a toner on it to calm the yellow.

Touch of silver twice weekly brightening shampoo - you can get it at most places (bodycare, Asda, super drug etc) it's VERY purple so don't leave on for any longer than 5 mins or you'll end up with a lilac tinge! It's fantastic stuff - don't pay for a toner at the hairdressers as this stuff works perfectly (I'm a qualified hairdresser).
