Serum or moisturiser first?

Instinct says serum but I don't know.

What's the consensus?

Serum first. It is more potent and finer texture, so can sink in more. Moisturiser doesn't get as deep so would stop it

Petal02 · 25/10/2014 14:16

Serum first, moisturiser second.

Serum first.

sassytheFIRST · 25/10/2014 14:26

AS I thought. Cheers all.

I'm using the Soap and Glory one in the tube shaped bottle (there's a silver cylinder and a silver tube, like a toothpaste tube)

Both brilliant

CointreauVersial · 25/10/2014 15:07

Olay or Boots P&P

BiancaDelRio · 25/10/2014 15:07

I'm using La Roche Posay's Effaclar Duo as a serum at the minute and my skin is looking pretty fabulous Grin

Gem124 · 25/10/2014 19:24

Ooh I didn't know soap and glory did one, might give that one a shot, though I have heard lots of good things about no7! Decisions :-)

i've read that origins Plantscription has been getting a lot of good press amongst beauty bloggers at the moment.

Serum first. Then decide if you need moisturiser as well, you might not if you have oily/combination skin as many serums will be moisturising.

caudalie SOS if your skin is suffering from heating being switched on. It had re-hydrated my skin in a week and sinks straight in look fantastic
