Please find me a watch!!

So finally resigned myself to the fact I really need a new watch, but I just don't know where to begin! I think I want a leather strap, but if I found a chain I liked that would do. So far the only ones I have seen that I have liked were a couple of Olivia Burton ones in Selfridges but my favourite has gone out of stock Sad. So ladies can you work your magic and find me a lovely new watch? Budget is around £80 but I can go to £100 at a push, and would love something fancy but not mega blingy!

Have a look at www.cobra-and-bellamy-watches.co.uk
Gorgeous classic watches

I am getting an Olivia Burton one for my birthday :)

Its similar to this but has a grey strap and rose gold case. She has lots of beautiful watches...you should google them online. I felt i was really spoilt for choice. I love her woodland ones.

I personally went for a watch that didn't have a leather strap, I find they are expensive to replace annually.

Nells77 · 25/10/2014 05:49

I had a massive struggle finding a watch that I really liked and then came across Shore projects (sorry on phone can't link!) they are slightly over budget but I got a couple of straps which makes the watch more wearable as I get board really easily Smile

Swatch have some that are quirky but also stylish, their prices are reasonable. I just recently discovered that Swatch is part of the Omega group.

swingonastar · 25/10/2014 15:04

I'm not much of a watch-wearer so took ages to find a new one recently!

Thought I wanted a leather strap, was quite keen on some of the smaller-faces fossil ones, but then came across Skagen and got one of their mesh-strap watches on amazon! Definitely the right choice, was pleasantly surprised at how much I like it!

Flowersandvegatables · 25/10/2014 15:09

It's over budget, but I've had one like this for eighteen years, since I was 21; lovely

Greengardenpixie · 25/10/2014 15:54

Sinning what was your first choice?

sinningsaint · 25/10/2014 17:26

This was my first choice, I prefer it to the simpler ones because it's just got a 'bit of something' if that makes sense?!?

You are not too old for that watch! If you like it you should get that one :) You can always change the strap if you get tired of it.

sinningsaint · 25/10/2014 22:13

Ooooh ok if you say so!! Smile Thankyou for the help

Is this the watch? It is in stock at John Lewis but hurry only 10 left.

BlueEyedWonder · 26/10/2014 15:14

I have a Mondaine watch that gets lots of positive comments and I love wearing. I got it in John Lewis. Might be a little over budget but look out for discounts.

Greengardenpixie · 26/10/2014 16:57

I have had my mondaine watch for years. I love it too. Large face and a lovely red strap. I felt i wanted a change and its out of batteries lol!!

sinningsaint · 26/10/2014 17:41
