warm wax parka??

Anyone come across a warm wax parka on the highstreet?

I have the target dry georgia for very wet or windy days but want a more comfortable casual parka too.

It does. I love a bit of borg lining, just wish I could find something nice in navy with it. Black makes me look dead and a lot of parkas would look daft on me

TripTrap this one is in navy with borg lining, I think they have a petite version tol if its too long.

Topshop have some great parkas - I have a navy borg lined one but it's waist length from last year, they had a longer one but it doesn't seem to be there this year. Also not waxed if that's important.

But this M and S one is so gorgeous in the flesh, it looks shit on their website though, as usual with M and S. Go and look at it in the flesh though it's lovely.

Ooh, is it the one that comes in either navy or 'aubergine' (looks more burgundy/red to me) one you have thisbitch? The red one looks lovely and the borg looks so cosy. That colour is almost the same colour as my bag though!

Does the white trim on the hood look on in real life from behind or does it look a little 'woah!' like it does in the pics? May be tempted by the navy one for winter walks

I can't do a link on ny phone but I just got a really lovely parka in the ASOS sale. If you type in Urbancode coated canvas parka, you should see it. £65 reduced from £189!

I bought a really good one from French Connection a couple of years ago and it's great. Totally waterproof and has removable lining so might be worth a look there.

TripTrap - this is this year's version of mine and I can highly recommend it, it's perfect for casual weekend jaunts and cosy. Mine has a tartan lined hood instead of the fleece, and doesn't have the leather bits at collar but otherwise identical and same price which is a bit high but it's a great quality coat. The white fur looks fab irl I think
