Evening dress for work do

Help please! I need formal wear for a work event and I don't have a clue, so I'd be massively grateful of any suggestions

I'm short (5ft2ins) so I can't do full length, but I'm happy in heels.size 16/18(not good I know but not gonna change in a month) I like arms covered/dresses with sleeves. Oh and cos I'll have to speak to important people, I don't want to show too much boob.

Colour wise I've got accessories that would work well with black or pewter grey, but also like strong colours....

Oh and budget probably £150 max, but preferably less

Please someone, help me look like the stylish professional I'd like to be
