Hi there, I've tried so many blushers, from cream to powder to tints, . And none seem to last longer than half an hour or so. I moisturize, and build up without looking too over the top. . . And still it seems to fade to nothing and I'm left looking ill again. I'm a pale red head and need some colour in my cheeks. .

Does anyone have any brand recommendations, or tips. Thank you

I find Sleek blushes very pigmented. They last all day on me.

I should say I have tried max factor, benefit, Mac. . Though a very light shade. . Sleek, . . Maybe I'm just not putting enough on. . . I hate looking like I've a lot of makeup on. . I'm mid 40s. . Though 24 in my head, thankfully my eyesight is fading so I still think I look fab. ;)

Well, having spent a good few minutes scrubbing Soap & Glory Cheekmate off my DD (12 yo, decided to play about with make-up) then I'd recommend that for staying power .

Bare Minerals blushers last all day on me, the loose powdery ones. Swirl in the lid whack on and it doesn't budge

Thanks guys. . .

Anyone rate a cream one as my skin is dry so maybe that would last longer. I read recently that the ysl one is good, sorry, no clue what it's called but I'm sure it's very expensive. I should actually be worrying about the fact I have my kids Halloween costumes to finish for school tomorrow . . . Or the other 20 things that are way more important. . . . . Pale face

Daniel Sandler Watercolour Blush lasts well on me. It's a liquid blush and you need barely as it's very pigmented. You can read about it here: www.feelunique.com/p/Daniel-Sandler-Watercolour-Blush-15ml
I use it directly on foundation and then set with powder.

I usually use powder blushers from Mac or Chanel - they are very nice and last well on me. Sleek blushers are also good, but so pigmented that you need to be very careful when applying - but they last as long as Mac and Chanel on me.
I use it on top of foundation and powder - it works better for me.

If you use lipstick, you can also use that as a blusher. If you have a long lasting lipstick (of the classic type, not a liquid or similar), maybe that will last long enough on your skin.

Sleek lasts all day on me.

Thank you all. I'll try those suggestions.

I hate blusher and never wear it usually BUT I have just discovered seventeen stamp blushers, they are fantastic and only a fiver but tbh I'd pay 3x that for them.

Benetint fairly heavily applied before foundation lasts well. You can see it through and it looks very natural.
Another option is to wear cream and powder blusher together. The powder sets the cream so it lasts and intensifies the colour.

Nars blusher in Orgasm (or Deep Throat if you're not pinky-pale, sorry not sure what skin tone you have, even with red hair it varies a lot). Tis a cult product for very good reason - have you tried it? I have very dry skin too, it's my favourite.

RemusLupinsBiggestGroupie · 24/10/2014 22:30

Another vote for Benetint, but I put it on after foundation.

JustLikeHeaven · 24/10/2014 23:30

Thanks again. I'll do some shopping tomorrow.

Try Artdeco, they are in Debenhams. They last all day and are really pigmented.
