Hello,

New to this but I have been reading the posts for months, decided to join in. Will try to help others as much as possible but I'm rubbish with fashion so will probably be more questions at first.

I'm attending a work event in around 3 weeks, I won't have seen many of the people at the event for years when I was younger / thinner. I want to look my best but have searched the Internet and have no idea on fashion.

I'm 34, short, 5ft2. Size 18. Best asset is my cleavage. Don't like my arms. I would like a black dress, not too high at the front (but not "too" low), but I want to be trendy but dress for my size. I've searched all the usual a Coast (a bit out budget wise), t k maxx, eBay. I just can't find anything that fits the bill!

Has anyone seen anything anywhere that I could wear.

Any help much appreciated, sorry for the essay.

Does it have to be black? This dark navy dress is a stunner and an absolute bargain.

Get ye to a good deptment store, JL or house of Fraser. Not their web sites, an actual shop.

Our HofF hides away evening dresses (in a side room off the stairs) for real, normal sized women. You just need to go in and ask.
