Diwali part tonight

Hello,

I'm going to a friends diwali party at her home tonight, I think it's going to be fairly casual, mostly in the garden for fireworks.

Can anyone give me any tips of anything to wear or not wear. I was thinking black jeans, black roll neck, long black boots and my prada puffy jacket, but I'm worried I'll look to bland, considering it's a festival of light :/

Thank you.

If this is what you usually wear for any party and you are comfortable wearing this, then absolutely yes.

But you are right, it IS the festival of light and it is a dinner party, I presume... So a bit more jewellery, a few more autumnal colours (mustard, rich burgundy, teal) embellished cardigans -all add to the festive spirit. Have a blast! Smile

It's not really, it's just she said we'd be outside... And I don't want to get cold. :/

You still have your puffy jacket. And you can still go in black jeans. Maybe a dressier top or blouse if you are socialising inside as well?
