Can they be worn together?

Without doubt!

Asteria · 23/10/2014 15:44

Yup - used to be regarded as a typically Parisienne thing, but was v much a thing a few years ago on the catwalks. I have always been a navy and black wearer - sadly not a very Parisienne chic look for me, more bag lady Grin

Absolutely - like everything else, as long as the look is 'considered'.

One of the nicest dresses I own is a black silk Jaeger origami sack dress with a navy yoke. Veh chic. And just LOOK at this awesome bag: www.stories.com/gb/Archive/Leather_bucket_bag/7715996-872542.1#872542 (sadly out of stock)

I hope so, I am wearing a navy tunic and black leggings today!

MilkThistle187 · 23/10/2014 16:23

yes, very chic

leedy · 23/10/2014 17:28

I think it works if it looks like they're meant to be together, IYKWIM - I have an APC navy dress with a black collar that makes me look like a stylish French lady. While if I wear, say, black shoes and skirt with navy tights it just looks like I got dressed in the dark....

moomin35 · 23/10/2014 19:31

What would a navy cardigan with black trousers look like? Good or bd?!

OP posts:
moomin35 · 23/10/2014 19:31

Bad even!
