Does anyone use root touch up by clairol?

I just wondered..have been using it for a while now but not sure i do it right. It says to add it to your roots then rinse. it then says style as usual. Do you shampoo after that? I feel that im taking the dye out. You have to put it on dry hair so you cant shampoo first. Or do you wash your hair the day before and do it the next day so hair is clean anyway???

I use it. I put it on really thickly, leave it for the reccomend time, rinse it out then I always shampoo straight after.

I think it's quite good. How does it look to you when you've finished?

Same as dream. I love it and have used it for a few years.

Well its usually very good..but this time i did it and left it on for 30 minutes. I have quite dark hair and my grey roots are quite a stark contrast. It was a bit 'washed' out looking. I will continue using it, its just when i looked at the packet i thought maybe i was doing it wrong because it doesnt say to shampoo. it just says style as usual.

I've used it for ages & also love it. I don't shampoo it out, though - just rinse under the shower, with loads of water, repeatedly & in slightly paranoid fashion in case I've left any on. I wash my hair the day before.

Think thats what i will doo loovanboon. Do it the day before then rinse instead of shampooing it. Feel like its washing it out. Actually, when you dye your hair, you dont shampoo it do you? You normally colour, apply the conditioner in the packet and rinse and rinse. Maybe it will last a little longer.
Root touch up is really great. Saves so much hassle.

I use it, and I meticulously shampoo it all out as I have a sensitive scalp. However I use the dark blonde, so a lot fairer than you are using.
