Spent a fortune in boots today & on a complete whim I bought effaclar DUO & effaclar MAT.

Then I got home & realised I am not 100% whether I need them both. Are they both moisturisers? Would you use both together? Or just one - instead of moisturiser/as well as? Instead of a primer/as well as?

Help!

I use Effaclar Duo as a pre-spot attack treatment: as soon as I feel a bump forming, on it goes and 9/10 times it stops the spot from forming. LRP say it can be used as a moisturiser, but I find it rolls into little globules on my skin during the day.

Effaclar Mat is a shine control moisturiser. Both great products for me.

I use the Effaclar Duo at night, when I start getting hormonal spots and they keep them at bay. 'Tis wondrous stuff. I'm interested in the Effaclar Mat though, for a daytime moisturiser- MrsBertMacklin- is it ok under foundation?

Effaclar Mat is works fine as a base for me.
