Urgently need something for a funeral....

It has to be black. (It's been specified, so no blue, grey etc)

Ideally I want a just above or knee length dress which is quite loose, an empire line maybe? And either up to 3/4 length sleeves or I could wear a cardigan.

I have to read there so I'm really self conscious about it being loose while I walk to the lecturn...

White company? Nice plain black loose tunic type dresses..

Next usually has quite a few black dresses.

I went to sainsburys today (but not the hugest one) and they didn't have any black dresses, but I'll drive to the bigger one tomorrow..

I'll have a look at the white company!

Marks and Spencer it has long sleeves though.

Have you considered what you will be wearing over the outfit? Have you got a black coat or jacket?

I've got a black coat with fur around the hood or a navy coat that's far more formal.

If I need to though I'll buy a new coat. I'm not worried about the cost. I just need to look right... I'm rubbish at clothes. I live in a uniform of leggings and uggs...
