I'm beginning my search. Any suggestions where to look? Seen any good ones? Thanks.

I really rate Boden bistro crops they fit me better than the J Crew and BR ones I used to wear. I am 5' 9" and a size 10 if that helps.

Gap ultra skinny are great if you want a cheaper option - as recommended by Belinda from the Workwear edit. But size down, I got an 8 and would normally take 10.

Boden Chelsea Turn Ups are pretty good.

Nods and smiles at Stokey - I agree re the Gap Ultra Skinny trousers, including to size down. Even then, mine have stretched a bit, so go for a slightly tighter fit than you would like.

I also just did a blog post, showing how well the Banana Republic Sloan Fit Slim ankle-zip trousers (that names a mouthful) fit.

I also love the J Crew ones if you are looking for wool, but they are ££.

There's a massively long wait on the black Boden bistro crops in popular sizes, e.g. 8 weeks for size 12.

I'll take a look at some of these as I was looking for some too. I've tried on loads of pairs but struggled to find a decent fit. 5'9" size 14.

After a comprehensive search and many-a-trying-on, I've settled on Gap Ultra Skinny, so thanks for the suggestion. Sizing is crazily big compared to other stores, a full two sizes difference for me.
