Hi can anyone recommend a foundation and concealer that have good coverage but don't feel or look heavy?

Urban decay naked skin liquid - I love this!!

Can anyone recommend a powder foundation suitable for combination skin, needs to come in vary pale shades (I have only found one high street liquid that goes pale enough).

Thanks for the reply, that's a bit more than I can afford at the minute though (sorry should have said in my original post drugstore prices!)

Revlon ColourStay is good, even better if you can find the whipped creme one. Excellent coverage but doesn't look cakey.

I've tried colour stay and don't like it, is the whipped cream one very different?

I found Maybelline True Match quite good if it's a liquid you're after. Best applied with a brush.

I found the whipped one very different, I didn't get on with the liquid either, I found it too drying and it caked round my nose which I don't find with the whipped version at all

Dior star meant to be great luminates too bit pricey but got excellent reviews. you can also get samples of it too.

Depends on your skin type and budget. High street brand bourjois does good foundations and lots of high end foundations are quite nice at the moment.

Warmandtoasty · 20/10/2014 11:22

For high street I love Rimmel match perfection, Bourjois healthy mix serum and loreal true match foundation. The last two I like more than the first one I mention but these are definitely my top 3 high street.

Concealer I struggle with, collection do a great one as do Bourjois think it's the healthy mix one but I've never found a high street one that I love.

I loved colour stay but the whipped cream one applied with the real techniques domed brush is incredible. I wasn't over impressed to start with but once I started using the brush out makes all the difference.

Applying regular colour stay with a damp bb thins it out nicely.

I'd go for Bourjois Healthy Mix Foundation (not the serum one as it's better for dry skin afaik) and Vichy Dermablend stick or foundation as concealer.

I personally don't think that full coverage foundations look great all over the face, but that's just my experience and opinion, so I'd use a lighter/medium coverage foundation on the areas of the face that don't need more coverage, and then the full coverage foundation/concealer stick on the areas that need more coverage.
