You know how everybody's mother told them to always wear nice underwear in case they were hit by a bus?
Where can I buy comfortable, wearable, everyday underwear that would look presentable if I was hit by a bus?
I'm looking for underwear which is co-ordinated and makes me feel confident when I look in the mirror, in the same way that a smart suit does. I'm not looking for sexy underwear.
I want matching bra and knicker sets with smooth lines and no strong patterns which might show up under clothes.
I want the knickers to be all or mostly cotton. I don't want the bra to be underwired.
I'd like them to affordable and machine washable.
I'm envisaging owning a couple of sets in, say, lilac or pale mint, or lemon, for wearing under light coloured clothes, and a couple of sets in, say, navy blue or deep purple for under dark clothes.
