Laser skin treatment?

I have a bad mark on my cheek that has always annoyed me. It's from a horrific spot I had as a teenager. I'm in my thirties now and to me it still looks like a have a spot there, though actually it's a bit like a broken vein, red underneath the skin.

I have to cover it up every day, then the make up wears off and it is visible again.

Can laser skin treatment do anything for it? I have no idea if it can be used for small areas like this, or if is is more for large areas like age spots. Totally clueless.
What kind of price would I be looking at? Where should I go for it?

Any experience or advice gratefully received.

Go get a consultation. Most places will do it for free.

I had laser treatment for thread veins. I didn't have a clue either but the people were lovely and explained everything. It worked very well for me.

They explained that one particular red mark was unlikely to get much better with treatment. They were right.

They'll want to have a good look at your red mark and discuss it with you.

Agree with Jump, get a consultation. With Fraxel they say the sar can improve up to 70%. If it's a depressed scar, laser and a little filler would be the thing. Or if it's v big, a plastic surgeon would review the scar, remove it and leave you with a hairline faint one. That's a last resort tho.
