Jeans for slim boys

Hi there I was just wondering if anyone can recommend jeans that are cut for slim boys as my 4 year old is so slim that 4-5 come up huge round the waist but good on length but 3-4 are ok on the waist but come up short? And skinny jeans are just skinny on the legs but are way to baggy are the waist they just look awful. So you can see my problem I've even tried the ones with the adjustable waist which ok but sometimes I have to take them in so much they look uncomfortable? Thanks for ideas on bands or style's Natalie xxx

As the mum of a skinny boy I recommend H&M and next slim fit

NatalieBS · 15/10/2014 20:08

Thanks so much as I'm finding it difficult to find jeans that fit well as I've tried primark, tesco, asda and Ted baker so I'll try both of them. X

Primark..Did sell skinny jeans. My son no waist fits them well although we have to still use adjustable waist tape. He also loves hi H&M jeans

Sainsbury. They have buttons in the waistband so you can adjust it and even fit my long legged skinny boy.

My DS is 8 and very slim, I have to get his jeans from next in their slim fit range or h&m. All other places are way too wide on the leg and look ridiculous after I have adjusted the waist.

Another vote here for Next slim fit and H&M. Excellent for my two tall skinny boys.

Gap to a special slim fit in a few different styles - you will need a huge kids store or look on line. They are the same style as the standard but are cut much slimmer on the waist and bum/hips and still have elasticated waists. As others have said H&M and Primark are worth trying but hit and miss IME.

I find Asda very wide - fine for tops but not bottoms.

Nutmeg at Morrison's have been good.

Another vote for H&M! The slim or skinny styles fit my very tall, very slim DSs very well Smile

I always find next good as both my boys are very slim

Zara boys clothes tend to be a tall skinny fit.

MilkThistle187 · 16/10/2014 11:52

Zara boys skinny jeans are good, but my very skinny 14 year old now wears girls jeans, better cut and better fabric we find. River Island Amelie are the ones he likes at the moment.
