Bra interventionists, where am I going wrong?

My current bras are 30FF and I get a tiny bit of overspill if I scoop everything in. I'm measuring 31 under and 40 over, so by my reckoning that should be 30GG. I ordered some bras in that size and they're massively baggy in the cups. Is it just to do with the shape of the bra? Or should I stick with the 30FFs?

Thanks!

It could well be the shape. Different brands have different shaped underwires. Full cup bras can often be baggy at the top, if you have less than firm breasts and moulded cup bras only fit well if your boobs are the right shape for them, as they have very little give.

It would be better to try a few different styles and brands, if you can, to see what works for you. I'd suggest a balconette or half cup and avoiding moulded or "t-shirt" bras until you've found a brand and shape that fits and flatters.

OK, that's odd. I tried a whole lot of bras on in a whole lot of shops and ended up with a 30FF again from Bravissimo - it's a full cup, yet it seemed to be the only thing that fitted.

Which bra did you get?

I am exactly the same measurement and spent ages in Bravissimo ( with bored three year old and crying baby) and came out with the bra linked above too! Have been trying to get more bras but nothing else fits so far.
