If you have a capsule wardrobe....

Do people notice you wear the same clothes constantly? I'm trying to go down the quality over quantity route but worried people will notice I always wear one of 3 jumpers or one of 3 scarfs etc. I have my eye on a designer cardigan / jumper but would end up wearing it lots, will people notice?

yes, i think the point is that you wear great signature pieces that you keep in good condition and style well with interesting accessories
the people i know who do capsule well are groomed down to well kept shoes, impeccable eye brows well maintained do's (even their "messy" up do's. they dont always spend alot of money.

I tend to have a capsule wardrobe for work (with an attempt at grooming!) and a lovely vast array of comfortable tatty clothes and trainers for everything else!

The only time people have noticed they have said things like, "I always love that dress on you," or similar, which is better, IMO than being noticed for new clothes that might not look as good.

Of course, I suppose no one's going to be rude enough to say "OMG you're wearing that bastarding green jumper again, are they?"
