Help me find this Zara fur jacket!

Oh clever resourceful MNers...... I need your help.

I really really rilllly want this for Saturday night (very special occasion). I fitted on the medium in the Zara closest to Marble Arch, but was too big. They didn't have a small. I didn't see it at all in the Bond St store. Thought I'd just order online, but now that I'm home I've checked and it's not available.

I can't go to the shops tomorrow as I'm home from work, but can have another hunt on Thursday. I fear time is not on my side!

So. Has anyone seen it in the last day or so? Can anyone advise if Zara are helpful in tracking down an item for you?

Call Zara customer services and ask them to check on their computer system using the item code. They can and will do that for you.

The other Zara's nearby that often have good stock levels are the one under BHS, the one in Park House and the one next to Mango. All on Oxford St. Also, Westfield White City, Kensington High St and Knightsbridge, and sometimes Whiteleys. Not that I shop often

Might be faster / easier to call these stores just after they open and ask them to check and then hold it. Good luck!

Yes I am a frequenter of all of the Oxford St Zara's .... It's just that I don't have the spare time up I used to for trawling.

I'm really pleased customer services will take a call, I just thought that maybe they get a huge volume of requests and therefore don't process any.

Picnic, they have helped me find stock before, and then I go to the store. I would call the store first, tho, to confirm. And only go to a store that has a few or has confirmed it has it - not uncommon for stock levels on the computer system to be slightly out of alignment w actual stock levels.

Well, have just called. They wouldn't help me locate it in store, but the app traces availability. It's telling me there are "last units" at a few non oxford st stores. I'll try calling Stratford when they open at 10 to see if they will put one by, and then try and convince my kids that a train journey after the smallest ones' nap will be fun.....

The app looks useful if nothing else. It's free. I had a feeling they would be able to deal with the whole nation calling customer services. Have you got something on them Belinda

No, but I am pretty "insistent" if I want something. I called them last before the app came out, so maybe they don't like to help anymore. Glad the app gave you some idea as to how to find it.

I haven't used the app - will look. I have also asked them to check on their computer when instore, and have had help that way, if you ever want to try that way.

Not sure if you have this yet but I was in the Oxford Street store today lunch time (the smaller one near Marks and Spencers, Next, New Look, near Poland Street) and they had a couple of smalls left. As you walk in turn right and they were on a stand in the middle.

I tried on the medium and its a really lovely coat. HTH.

They have Ms on the website now too, must have restocked.
