Opinions on coat?

Just after a few opinions as I'm a nightmare with coats, don't do the whole padded waterproof thing (but will do waxed for proper wet days) but want a hood to add a more relaxed look and do like a bit of borg but equally don't want to look like an overgrown schoolgirl!

Did eye up the plum one first but after seeing a blog it is on realised the colour isn't right on the site and it's actually proper purple!

I think it's a nice coat... I'm not sure about the borg / fur collar but then I'm not partial to a bit of that anyway.... so may just be me.

I've just bought this M&S one, but I think I might prefer the DP one. The M&S is ridiculously heavy, but is 50% wool.

Well the coat I was thinking of was on george at asda actually. .. they have some nice little duffle coats but they are only £20 ish so obviously quality questionable but might be worth a browse.

Also found this cheap n cheerful website the other day - www.ikrush.com/ - never ordered from them so no idea re quality or service but I have been drooling over some of the shoes.... which doesn't help you with coats. But you know me, helpful as ever. ...!

TickledOnion (love the name!), I saw your thread the other day. I love the colour of yours, Fat Face have a similar colour in a slightly different style duffle if you wanted to look?

Thanks TripTrap. I like that one too. Aaargh too much choice. I'm definitely going to return the M&S one. It's so heavy it's like hauling around another child. I don't think I'd fancy wearing it wet.
