There are so many!! Ok...so i am 46 and have light olive skin. It is combination normal to oily. I suffer from break outs around the chin area. I have a little uneveness in the odd place but my skin in general is ok. I would like something that gives my skin a lift. Maybe even with a little bb cream or cc cream. There are just so many to choose from so need some advice. What one to choose???

Sorry I can't help, they all sting my skin,I find them really harsh. Hope you find something that suitsSmile

ilovepowerhoop · 12/10/2014 15:24

I like the Olay Essentials Complete Care cream

Greengardenpixie · 12/10/2014 15:25

Thanks. Do you have sensitive skin? Its just that most of the reviews are very positive. I bought boots protect and perfect for ages and felt like a change!!

I wanted something that perhaps gave me a bit of anti-ageing boost ha ha...i know its futile but just hopeful!! Does olay essentials make your skin look better?

I bought this one on recommendation from another MN thread . I like it and have used it every day. I just put a spot on one finger ,divide that between two fingers and dot over my face ,concentrating on the liniest (thats not even a word) bits.

It gives my skin a sheen but not a shine so it looks healthier ,which is what I was going for.

turkeyboots · 12/10/2014 15:34

I like the Total Effects range. It's one of the few things I don't react to.

beachywaves · 12/10/2014 15:35

I too use the same one as Killme. I have sensitive rosacea prone skin and it is the only one my skin tolerates.

Cheesymonster · 12/10/2014 16:42

I use the three point treatment cream here. I'm 39 and have combination skin.

yummypickledeggs · 12/10/2014 17:05

I've been using Total Effects Night cream but have just finished a pot of Olay Regenerist 3-point. You can get most of them off Amazon for much less and the unperfumed versions are less irritating.

Greengardenpixie · 12/10/2014 17:23

Yes, thats were i plan to buy it from. its just so hard to choose. The three point cream..has it helped your skin cheesy monster?

yummypickledeggs · 12/10/2014 17:55

TBH if you are prone to some spots you might find the 3-point too rich- it's very moisturising- I used it as a day and night cream but am considerably older than you.

You might fond Total Effects 7 signs better.

Greengardenpixie · 12/10/2014 18:10

Thanks yes..i am prone...i will have a look at the 7 signs thanks! :)

I like the Total Effects range as well. I don't have sensitive skin and have never reacted to any brand of moisturiser. I am currently using Superdrug Naturally Radiant range and it is excellent.

Cheesymonster · 12/10/2014 18:21

I'm very pleased with the results of the three point cream. I'm on my third pot.

Deathraystare · 12/10/2014 21:11

Sorry - no help at all. I am too busy sniggering that Greengarden pixie has asked "has it helped your skin Cheesymonster?" Love the names!!! I am imagining in real life = a cheesy monster fretting about their skin. Forgive me. I needed a snigger. LIfe is F*ing shite at the moment.
