And can't get the residual wax off!!! I've tried toner, a scrub, my nails. AAAARRGGH. It's really sticky. What should I do?

Oil, I think.. Any oil should do it

Yep - baby oil, olive oil... did the wax not come with little oily wipes?

Surgical spirit, or nail varnish remover? Meths?? Just thinking what works on glass for removing sticky stuff.
I did have to use nail varnish remover on my dd's face once. She was about 18 months old, still not sleeping through the night, she found a bottle of Tippex while I had an afternoon doze on the sofa and painted her face with it.

Aloe Vera or any oil, olive etc will work fine

How annoying. I wax mine and use the strips you warm between your hands. There's only 4 wipes in a pack. Never enough.

I've used baby lotion rubbed vigorously to get residual wax off before. Oil is better.
