I need boot help, please...

I'm trying to find some ankle boots to wear with skirts/dresses and tights but I can't decide what to go for. Any advice or recommendations welcome!

I'd like something with a low to mid heel ideally, or a thick sole, but either a wedge heel or a wide block heel (not one that tapers), leather rather than suede and ideally no more than 70. Would also like a sole with decent grips. Not chelsea boot style and not real biker boots either. Is there anything out there?

I've got a couple of threads going about exactly that kind of boot and tbh it's just not happening at much under £90-£100. It's the heel height I'm struggling with, mid heel seems to lead inexorably to mum boots!

Thanks for the reply - I'll look for your threads. I've seen a couple of pairs in suede but they'd be useless in this weather (pouring rain here)!
