I already have calf length biker-ish ones, cuban style heeled knee riding/cowboy ish boots, and also a pair of flat ones similar to these that are starting to fail. So I tried them instore and they were as naff as you'd all said they would be! So I looked at heeled ankle boots instead. I'm after cute but tough - not a biker style, but not a pointy office stilleto, to wear mostly with dresses & leggings/tights but occasionally with jeans too.
These Clarks Halle's were recommended on here and were really lovely and I'm very tempted, but I did originally want brown as opposed to grey. Is grey more on trend perhaps, more versatile? I have no clue.
These M&S ones are lovely in the flesh (and are def brown not dark grey) but they are rather high for all day wear! And they were even cheaper with a discount code, making a £25 difference between those and the Clarks.
But these M&S were not so nice, just... odd.
Any opinions, other suggestions? I don't really want to have to spend more than about £50-£60 if possible and less for preference, but I know that is a challenge especially for leather.
