Baukjen sizing - how does it come up?

I'm looking at this for an evening do but I've never bought anything from them and am unsure of their sizing.

I'm annoyingly between a 14 and 16 at the moment and fairly large of bosom. Do their sizes come up generous or tiny? Thanks in advance!

I would say true to size. I am a standard 12 and the 12 fits in the tops, skirts, dresses and trousers I have bought.

I would also say true to size but i size up on their clingy jersey stuff

I'm a size 16 and their jersey stuff in a 16 fits me very well, almost slightly roomy (hurrah).

(And for those at work without sound on their PCs how DO you pronounce it? )

I would say it is pretty generous, I always size down (but then I also like my clothes close fitting)

This arrived today and was sadly too fitted so I have to send it back. Shame because it was lovely but showed every lump and bump plus my boobs were too big for the neckline.

My favourite dress from BOWKIN in a grey maxi T shirt style with buttons on the shoulders (well that sounds foul). The good burghers of S&B thought I might look like wee Willie Winkie, but it is comfy and with sturdy underwear and a big chunky belt makes me look almost funky!

No plan B! I had a panic session on John Lewis earlier and have ordered a French Connection dress mainly because it will be at my local shop tomorrow and easily returnable.

It's so annoying. I've known about this evening do (which is a professional/public event) for ages but it's not a party IYSWIM and I hadn't given an outfit any thought at all until another attendee told me the other day that she had a sparkly dress and I thought 'ulp' and got all paranoid.

It's really awkward because I had some difficult times, put on some weight and lost ALL my confidence. I'm losing the weight and slowly regaining the confidence but the two things together mean I have to be careful what I buy.

I'm always a 10, very occasionally an 8 (at 5'8") and I had my first Baukjen work dress turn up yesterday. When I tried it on, it's far, far too tight for the office - it could only be worn casually with a pair of serious Spanx, and the Ponte jersey was thin and poor quality for just under £100. I had high hopes as their clothes look so nice on the website!

I hope the FC dress works out, OP. I bet you'll look great
