I've heard so much about her amazing perfumes I'd like to try one for myself. I normally wear Marc Jacobs Daisy or Orla Keilly & used to wear Chanel allure & chance so floral I guess but wanting something that lasts & is a bit deeper. Any suggestions?

I use Peony and Blush Suede. It's lovely and floral. www.jomalone.com/product/11563/27028/fragrances/the-collections/floral/peonyblushsuede/peony-blush-suede-cologne

I wear Red Roses and love the smell but it is a bit polarising!

I have two small bottles my DH bought me as a gift ( French Lime Blossom and Orange Blossom). I don't rate them, am wearing both to get shot of them but won't be looking to buy again. Sorry, just my opinion. Hope you find a fragrance you love!

I wear English pear & fresia, it's lovely!

I love Peony and Blush Suede too! :)

I had a bottle and it did smell nice but didn't last for very long. I found it a bit of a disappointment considering the price.

I was at their counter and the woman there put the body lotion of one scent on me and then another perfume. She said it was a good way to make the smell last longer.

I really like the idea of Jo Malone and the sound of the fragrances but whenever I have tried them they remind me of air freshener. They only last about 10 minutes on me too. Very disappointed.

polyhymnia · 03/10/2014 17:07

I don't rate them very highly either - were a bit of a cult ages ( about 20 years) ago but are on fact very ordinary and I understand don't last very long.

You could do much better - my personal favourite is Annick Goutal, but there are loads of good suggestions on the various perfume threads.

pinkfrocks · 03/10/2014 17:14

I think they are terribly pricey for what they are when you compare with other brands like Chanel etc.
There are 1 or 2 that are ok-ish but on the whole they are not very complex perfumes and IME don't last long ( only used testers.) I found they are very strong initially in a overly floral way then fade to nothing quickly.

Queenofknickers · 03/10/2014 17:25

I wear red roses and always get compliments/asked what the lovely smell is

And it's a good way of making you spend lots more money there Wink !!

Dark Amber and Gingerlilly is a really nice, warm and a bit sexy without being too heady and overpowering. It lasts longer than a lot of them too.

honeycrest · 03/10/2014 18:31

I love Peony and Blush Suede too but don't have any :( I currently have Silk Blossom and Orange Blossom. The Silk Blossom one is floral and lovely.

Jakadaal · 03/10/2014 18:49

Pomegranate noir is my favourite. If you go into the store they will do a testing session with you to find out which scents you like best and will then recommend some - I found that much better than just trying out the testers

bruffin · 03/10/2014 19:06

. I wear the pear and fresia. I dont mind the cost because they smell light and refreshing and natural. Chanel makes me heave if im in the same room as someone wearing it.

Greengardenpixie · 03/10/2014 19:19

I like pomegranate noir. Not fussed for the rose, or orange blossom - just not my thing. I got loads of samples to try from ebay. The one i have like the most is that one. Never tried the peony and blush suede..but i did fancy one that had patchoulli in it.
