Boots No 7 Lipsticks

All the old ones have gone. Was never a huge fan but was pleasantly surprised by Divine and Romantic when bought with a money-off voucher.

Has anyone tried the new ones which look very scarily bright?

I've done the colour match thingy and they still all look bright even in the shades for pale skin.

They are really bright. I bought a pink and coral shade, have to pat them on lightly. Sadly no natural nude shades either ??

I was hoping they would have a nice deep rosey plum but it was very disappointed with the amount of garish pinks. Too eighties in tone most of them.

I did buy a 'garish' pink but I love it!

If I want a softer look I just press along my lip gently and go over with a clear gloss.

Have all the old ones gone? I loved the sheer temptation range, they were a lovely gloss / lipstick

Oh, I was quite impressed with the colour match thing - the one lipstick I've bought really works. I like quite garish lipsticks though. Not great staying power though

They are really bright. I liked mine but DD took hers back. It was a bit scary in daylight.

Don't worry Dame, sheer temptation is still there! You can ask a staff member to order the old colours in for you, they are still available online for a year.
Pinkfrocks, try Soft Tulip, Soft Pink or Ginger Rose, apply lightly. Sometimes it's hard to see past the shock of a different or brighter colour!

Too bright in dark skin too. I did the colour match and looked like a clown.

I just did the colour match thing, I was happy with the result. I liked that I got given a colour card to take away with me too.

I'm pretty pale though, seems other posters with darker skin tones haven't been too happy.

Thanks Fluffy- Soft Pink was a possibility so will look again.
