Be gentle with me please i'm a S&B virgin Wink

I am really struggling with eyeshadow...major I know. I have recently switched from black mascara to brown black as I decided black was too harsh for me, but I have no idea what to wear eyeshadow wise. Either every day or at night time. I have dark auburn hair, natural not dyed, dark brown eyebrows, brown turning hazel eyes and pale skin with some red-head freckles. Help me?!

I won't tell you what colour I have been wearing every day for fear of being lynched.

I think a nice satin finish of a cream or champange colour would look nice.

SoldeInvierno · 02/10/2014 17:59

I would go for violet. Sue Uemura has beautiful sets of violet with a pink base

I am similar colouring but green eyes. I love makeup Blush so bear with me
Bronzes and golds look nice, like mac woodwinked or satin taupe
Greens too, mac sumptuous olive has a little gold in it, and is lovely
Violet/purples can look striking
Makeup revolution is a decent brand, as in their palettes are £4 and you can experiment. Or one of the urban decay naked palettes (not the no 3, probably too pink toned for you)

Bourjois smoky eyes trio in 'vert jungle 14' has some nice greens and an interesting yellowy green in it, I have green eyes that are also kind of hazel and I thought it would be too similar to my eye colour but it seems to work. The mac one goodasitgets suggests sounds very nice too.

Agree with beiges/pale gold/gold/taupes etc, and with violet/purples. Your colouring sounds lovely and quite unusual.

I've similar colouring and I agree that olive and purple eye shadows look good. My every day one is cheap as chips Heather by Natural Collection - usually on offer at 2 or 3 for £5
