here

I'm not keen on it with the way they have styled it in the photos think it looks better with the collar up
and probably skinny dark jeans and tall brown boots

or in the evening

I'm not overly keen on this style for myself but it is a nice jacket. Very snug!

bettereveryday · 01/10/2014 19:48

again not my type pf jacket but still with pair of jeans and boots will look good, but also in the evening or even over a pair of boyfriend jeans and ankle boots would look good too x

tethersend · 01/10/2014 19:48

I like it, but I'm sure you can get a nicer faux fur jacket for less money.

SqueezyCheeseWeasel · 01/10/2014 19:53

I don't like faux fur jackets. They make me think of 1970's barmaids and I also think the 'fur' goes manly very quickly as it gets things stuck on it and picks up grease.

pinkfrocks · 01/10/2014 19:59

It's the sort of jacket IMO you would wear over an evening dress or a posh frock for getting in and out of a taxi.

Many of my mum's older friends wore real fur jackets like that at my wedding, many decades ago.

tethersend · 01/10/2014 20:10

I love faux fur jackets because they make me think of 1970s barmaids Grin

I'm not sure its fitted enough tbh

how old are you? I don't think this would look good on anyone over 25

LuckySaint · 01/10/2014 20:24

I like it but would wait for a discount code or the sales.
I'm also a fan of the 70's barmaid look Grin

magicpixie · 01/10/2014 20:24

I think it's a bit TOWIE - I'd say 'chavvy' but I know that MN doesn't like that word

magicpixie · 01/10/2014 20:34

well I've already been called a chav once this week on here already so...

I kinda know what you mean

pinkfrocks · 01/10/2014 20:45

If you want something that looks 60s retro then go for it- am old enough to remember some of the 60s. But it's not a 'serious' coat.

magicpixie · 01/10/2014 20:53

well what would be a serious coat then please
can you give me an example please

ShakeYourTailFeathers · 01/10/2014 21:01

I really like it...and used to have one a bit like it....

but think i'm too old now (38)

ThisBitchIsResting · 01/10/2014 21:30

I like it and it looks really soft. I think you could find a cheaper one though - have you seen it in the flesh and had a stroke?

I have a lush one similar, got it in a Next sale about a decade ago and have only worn a handful of times but I like owning it.

MiniTheMinx · 01/10/2014 21:34

Its bad for the environment. I think it's quite pretty though and would look nice with dark skinnies and boots.

Castlemilk · 01/10/2014 21:38

It's very boring.

Corygal · 01/10/2014 21:42

I really like it. And I don't think you have to be a teen to get away with it.

WowWowSauce · 01/10/2014 21:45

I don't usually like fur jackets but that must be one of the best I've seen.

burnishedsilver · 01/10/2014 22:05

I'm not opposed to the idea for evening but I don't like the colour. Tbh it made me of Jaime lee Curtis in trading places. Sorry.

what do you think to this coat?
ThreeQuartersEmpty · 01/10/2014 22:05

I like it. I have similar in all black, short and very soft.
although the hook and eye fastenings aren't suitable for when it's actually cold, as the wind will blow in.
But for an evening cover up over a ball gown between taxi and venue, or brief evening out on ski holiday, it looks good as you describe with jeans and boots.

magicpixie · 01/10/2014 23:05

I like black coats , but they don't suit my colouring, as I have long dark hair, so I find black clothes or very dark brown clothes don't really suit me

I did think about trying to find a white coat
but this colour minky does suit my colouring
so the colour is great for me
