please advise me, I am colour blind

I tend to play it safe and wear either dresses, or black, white or cream with a colour. I have just bought some plum coloured trousers, sort of dark reddish purple, what would go with them apart from black and cream? My friend suggested pale blue but it makes me feel like an Aston Villa supporter.

Grey, mint green, cobalt blue?

Mustard. Sounds gross but I love them together

Grey, maybe a touch of mustard, silver, the right shade of pale pink.

Anything really, you just have to wear the right thing to pull them together, so a scarf with plum plus another colour would allow you to wear those trousers with that colour

Or a pale blue denim shirt?

I do worry that blue of any shade makes me look West Ham. Mustard though sounds great so I will take your word for it that it works! And silver, grey and mint also good ideas. Pink is one I would definitely get wrong.
