Help please! Home hair colour disaster

Dear mnetters please help.

I used one if those loreal home highlighting kits with the 3 pronged brush. It has turned out awful.

My hair has fine too light , brassy, golden orange in colour. Would I be able to buy a new darker colour and do it again so soon?

Haven't got much cash to spare so would prefer to not go to a salon if I can help it. Although I know I really should have gone to a professional in the first place Sad

If you did do it again I wouldnt choose a dark colour..at most a light golden ash brown

If you go darker, use a semi-permanent. A permanent one might fry it (runs hands through slightly crinkly formerly-blonde bits)..

What's your usual hair colour?

I'd get a semi permanent a shade lighter than usual and put that on.

Nice and easy are ok, but if you've got long hair buy 2 boxes and they're quite often on offer, 2 for £10.

Good luck!

Aw thank you all much appreciated I am in despair and had no idea where to start! Usual colour is dark blonde light brown ish but had been dyeing it slightly darker hence why I felt like going a bit lighter, wish I hadn't. Thanks

It'll be ok, I'd get the lightest brown they do.
The lighter bits might grab the colour and end up a bit darker but a semi should even things up enough.
