Walking in heels!

Any advice?

I can walk in some, particularly platform heels or wedges.
This weekend I have to pull off some serious fuck me heels without walking like a transvestite!

Any tips?

My gran always said heel-ball-toe wit most of the weight as you walk going onto the ball of your foot. Not sure if this is right as I always fall over especially after a few glasses of wine !!! Grin

Yes there will be lots of wine involved ??

You've got to sort of forget you are waking in heels and imagine they are any normal shoe/trainer.

You automatically want to it your toes down first but must put heel down first.

Take smaller, mincier steps.

I had the same problem before wearing some high stilettos last xmas, so I you-tubed it!
The answer was the pretty much the same as above, step with your heel first, as you normally would, don't compensate by shifting your weight forward though, just walk as normally as you can. I was petrified this would break the heel, but it really doesn't and was quite quick to master.

Walking down as flight of stairs without a handrail was another matter though!
