BODEN PREVIEW- NOW ON

In case anyone cares, they have a preview site with items available from January.

It appears to be summer clothes.

Does this mean there is no winter preview- and the stock they have now is 'it' for the cold weather- no more coats or jumpers etc?

there appears to be an alarming amount of "per-una-fright" type clothes - said by me who normally likes a bit of Boden. Will check it out and link to some of the worst bits

No link needed- just usual website but add preview after Boden.

I saw a pic of some Boden sparkly pump type shoes in Times mag at weekend and assumed they were Christmas stock so looked for a preview- and it's summer stuff.

There is not one single dress I'd wear- if the shape is ok the fabric isn't.

I don't know what's getting more increasingly ridiculous, the prices or the patterns. Close call. And I also like me some Boden now and again.

There is nothing new and the patterns are terrible.

Have you see the flowery Rainy Day mac? ( mind you it's better than the Fanjo mac they currently sell.

The patterns are truly awful. They are far too big and the colour combinations are just hiddeous!

All you disappointed previous Boden shoppers, where are you shopping now? I am at a lose as to where to go now. I used to like Hobbs but not in the last year. Any more suggestions?

I like Toast tbh..their simple things. I bought a beautiful whale cord tunic dress in forest green. its gorgeous!!! Shops i love but havent bought from are anthropologies ..gorgeous things. Love Poetry clothing..again never bought from. I usually buy from white stuff as i love prints and they have funky ones. ..although i know that a lot on here dont like the stuff...i have been wearing it for a number of years and always find something i like on it. Their skirts are lovely.

I feel like they've stopped doing what they did best - good quality basics like cotton skirts and plain jersey shirts. Now it's all mini skirts in weird patterns and unflattering tunics that don't know if they want to be dresses or tops.

Also naming one of their colours 'moth'? Umm yes, because the thought of moths in the context of clothes is so appealing...
