Anyone got advice for growing back eyebrows

in my younger days I over plucked and yes even used a razor to shape my eyebrows. Now they are patchy and whilst I have a good eyebrow filler colour its embarrassing when I take my make-up off. I just wish I could at least have good eyebrows again but don't know what to try.

Anyone got any advice or had any success in re-growing eyebrow hair?

My beautician said the best thing for growing eyebrows is castor oil. Just put a bit on at night. I've not done it but worth a try?

It might not be your over-plucking that's caused it. I've never over-plucked or otherwise abused my eyebrows but now I'm in my late 30s they're starting to thin and fade. I think it's just one of those things.

I did hear Vaseline was meant to be good for this, don't know if it's a myth.

Also I guess try to leave them alone,that is what I find the hardest part of trying to grow them,the temptation to just get that one stray...

RapidLash serum. It's around £40 and you HAVE to use it every night to begin with (for, say, a month). It's for eyelashes but works on brows also.

I had zero lashes due to extensions for 5 years. My eyelashes are now a little too long and I look like I've got false ones on every day!

I tried the Rapidlash serum, mine are nearly non-existent due to alopecia, it worked a little but not enough to stop using the eyebrow pencils.

yes! did a few years ago. took about a year. I just left them alone, they eventually grew back and I had the threaded. I tried eyelash serum too. I find tinting helps as there are fine hairs that add to the definition once they have some colour

I've had amazing results. My brows are naturally full but several over plucking sessions left the rails slightly too short and a few bald patches that needed filling in. 2 months of the serum and they look really good. No bald patches. The ends have grown back and the hair looks slightly darker and healthier.

I was really cynical about it when I bought it and it's a bit ££ for the amount but it's definitely worked for me.

Rapidbrow was the one I used, not Rapidlash as I put earlier. Not only did it only partially work it was only a temporary effect, once I stopped using it the brows reverted back to their previous levels of sparseness.

I had overplucked over the years, then in 2012 I thought I'd jump on the HD Brows bandwagon as it was becoming popular.

You basically hand over control of your brows to an expert - it took 4 visits, 1 every 4 to 6 weeks to sort mine and since I got my shape and a bit of thickness back I maintain myself (go back around every 8 - 10 months when I start to over pluck again).

They make sure the shape suits your face and that the thickness/darkness is right for you (I have dark hair so go dark, but you don't have to go for the big, dark comedy brows that some people have!).
