Its going to be a Parlux BUT ....

do I go for the 3200 or the new 385 light ?

Anyone had a chance to use both & have any thoughts + or - ?

I have the 385 light as I have dodgy weak wrists & find this lovely & light compared to my ancient remington. It cuts drying time almost in half as well although can produce a tatty mess as it's soooo powerful so it needs to be tamed with a brush when drying. Note to remember, when I ordered from amazon it only can with a European 2 pin plug. I complained & got an adapter & 10% refund for the hassle. When I looked more into this, they mostly all come with a European plug. Oops! Sorry amazon!

I have just got the purple 3200 one. They were half price at Amazon.
It makes my fine, long ish hair straighter so cuts out the ghd use, but does not seem to add much volume? Perhaps I am doing it all wrong.
Its very light.

in the end I went for the 385 light in purple as I had the money given to me as a birthday gift so thought I would go for the lighter newer one as a treat as giver intended.

I ordered yesterday & it arrived this morning - sadly I was very tempted to jump in shower and wash my hair but I restrained myself & will try tomorrow - will let you know what I think .

3800 I have is better than 3200, though more expensive (though it's quite heavy actually). But I think 385 very good also, and better choice compared to 3200.

I got a 3200 delivered this morning. Am yet to use it - the weight feels ok, but it feels a bit cheap! Shock

Sorry to throw a spanner in the works but I just bought a GHD Aura and it is AMAZING. I was on the verge of starting a thread about it. My hairdresser used it on me a few weeks ago and him and all the other staff were raving about it.

The way it dries your hair it's like you've done it with straighteners - shiny, smooth, swishy.

Best buy all year!

Well, first use of the new hairdryer - the medium heat settingon the Parlux blows hot and cold and I've seen sparks under the switches...

I might have to get the ghd!

Hope they take this one back...

I ordered the 385 direct from parlux a couple of weeks ago and when it arrived it rattled very strangely. Turned out there was a loose screw inside. I managed to get it out and so far it's ok. Not much impressed by that though Shock
