too twee?

OP posts:
sunnyrosegarden · 29/09/2014 16:36

Hmm, I quite like it, despite thinking I wouldn't!

LaCerbiatta · 29/09/2014 16:36

Anything identifiable as Boden is a big no for me, sorry :)

frankietwospots · 29/09/2014 16:39

I would have said that looks more like Cath Kidston than Boden. It's rather cute.

OverAndAbove · 29/09/2014 16:40

That's not as Boden-esque as I thought it would be. I was imagining a giant appliquéd squirrel. It looks nice in the pictures (except with the daft blue boots). I don't think it's that twee

So twee! Really not my cup of tea at all.

BreeVDKamp · 29/09/2014 17:09

I was imagining a giant appliquéd squirrel.

Me too! I was so ready for the skirt to be gross but it's not. I like the shape!

AstoriaMalfoy · 29/09/2014 17:54

What's going on with the London skirt ? Why would you want tower bridge opening up in your crotch area ?

WanderingTrolley1 · 29/09/2014 18:00

Nope. Doesn't do it for me.

PacificDogwood · 29/09/2014 18:02

No. That's a no from me. And I do own some Boden

VerucaInTheNutRoom · 29/09/2014 18:05

I am more agog at the fact that they are charging £60 for what is basically an elastic waisted skirt. You could make one for a quarter if the price with much nicer fabric!

Finola1step · 29/09/2014 18:08

Squirrels.. On a skirt. That would be a "No" from me.

wellnowthenmardybum · 29/09/2014 18:12

I actually quite like it, anyone got a spare £59 kicking about they don't want?

SinglePringle · 29/09/2014 18:14

Waaaay too twee. I would think the wearer was all 'woo' and 'I love being seen as cute and quirky'.

The sort of person I try and keep well away from.

PacificDogwood · 29/09/2014 18:16

At least it's cotton at the price.

NewEraNewMindset · 29/09/2014 18:20

I am confused. It looks like the kind of garment I made in school in my sewing class from a pattern. People want to pay £59 for this? Id want some tailoring and lining for that price!!!

SofaCanary · 29/09/2014 18:21

It has an elasticated waist, the squirrels are the least of it's worries.

Littlebluebutterflies · 29/09/2014 18:30

Well, it's not offensive so anyone who like it, go for it. Not my taste personally I have rules against animals on my clothes

I'm a bit disappointed by this season's Boden though, haven't found anything to spend my vouchers on.

Hobbs this season is even worse though - today's email was deeply awful.

Littlebluebutterflies · 29/09/2014 18:32

wellnow I'd hang on a bit, I'd imagine it'll be reduced sooner rather than later in the sale.

sunnyrosegarden · 29/09/2014 18:36

People don't pay £59 though. They wait for the discount codes or sales.

herecomesthsun · 29/09/2014 18:39

is actually £47 btw

burnishedsilver · 29/09/2014 18:41

I don't get the appeal. It looks like a little girls skirt.

morethanpotatoprints · 29/09/2014 18:48

I don't spend that type of money on every day clothes and would expect a few for that price, sorry OP
Plus its Bodens which says it all really.

SomeSunnySunday · 29/09/2014 20:33

No. It has squirrels on it.
