Another bra question (sorry)

After a recent bra intervention (thanks ladies!) I realised I'd been wearing a 34" bra when in fact I'm a 28". Went from a B to a D cup. Got my new bra, (singular because I can't afford to buy lots and send some back and I'm not near any shops that stock a 28") and it fits much better than my saggy old ones but I'm not 100% sure about it.

My boobs are small, and fuller at the bottom than the top. I got the Panache Tango ll Balconette. Now I've scooped, I feel like the top of the cups are sort of squashing my boobs and I almost have a 4-boob look going on, not hugely but its just not 100% so I'm not sure if the cup size is wrong or the actual shape of the cups/bra.

I'm wondering if there's a particular style of bra that would suit my shape better. Any suggestions from you wise & experienced ladies on which style I should go for?

it sounds like the cups are too small to be honest. What were your measurements? Just thinking out loud, if you were wearing a 34B and filling the cups, the equivalent cup size on a 28 back bra would be 28DD, so it might be worth trying that or even a 28E to see if that makes a difference.

Yes you could try a cup size up. Or it might just be the style. I really rate the Andorra. It's by Panache too and is the same shape as the Tango but has stretchy lace on the top part of the cup so it doesn't dig in and cause bulges.

Just a quick update on this, I got the Cleo Minnie balconette bra in 28DD an it is a perfect fit! So comfy and although my boobs are still smsll they look a great shape in this bra - my first non padded bra ever and it gives me cleavage, I cant believe it Smile

Thanks to mumsnet bra ladies, if it wasn't for this site I'd never have heard of bra intervention

If you like the Minnie, then all these other Cleo bras are similar cuts (some are discontinued but you can often Google them and get at discount prices): Bella, Melissa, Meg, Lily, Marcie

You can pick up some real bargains on the Cleos - mycurvesandme and amazon in particular do loads of them. These are both good bras and available in your size

pink marcie £6.75

Lily, same price
