Sorry might be behind the times as only just seen it but could not believe what she looked like on the first episode, No makeup, her hair looked so messy (not just got out of bed sexy, I mean messy) and the bright pink boob tube made her look quite literally as if she had just got out of the bath.

What did you think?

Was this on Saturday night? I didn't notice she looked scruffy but maybe I have a high threshold for scruffiness ;-)

I did like Tess's outfit though.

JamForTea · 29/09/2014 12:21

Why do male presenters never have this scrutiny. I like CW, I think she's personable and enthusiastic. Yes, I know this is S and B and is therefore all about clothes so I'll just shuffle off.

BreeVDKamp · 29/09/2014 12:22

I like her but I did Hmm at her lack of undereye eyeliner. I think it's a really good and fresh look in person but doesn't work on telly! Standing next to Tess' smoky eye she looked a bit ill.

Tillybee · 29/09/2014 12:23

I think she did wear make up. Just that she wears pale lipstick and pale foundation so it looks like she doesn't wear much.

I thought her hair looked quite glossy actually, though prefer it straight. I liked Tess's hair

tipsyloolah · 29/09/2014 12:27

I think I like women who are funny and smart and warm.

I also think she looked absolutely fine.

I suspect that's not what you're after though.

LizzieMint · 29/09/2014 12:28

She looked awful on Friday night but my view was that she'd been 'made over' as she had none of her characteristic style - no eyeliner, pink lipstick, mussed-up fringe and bright pink dress. She looked much better back to her normal self on Saturday, I think she re asserted herself!

yorkierocks123 · 29/09/2014 12:36

yes I admit it is very shallow but i admit I do like to see what presenters are wearing, what their hair is like and all that. Yes Tess' hair was really good and her outfit was gorgeous as well.

Tess is a lousy presenter though. She's just not clever, quick or funny enough to be presenting a prime time show.

I loved Claudia on It Takes Two, I don't think her signature heavy eyeliner works on prime time particularly now she's a bit older, so she's obviously scouting for a new look. Once she gets her hair and makeup under control she'll be fine. She really makes me laugh.

WipsGlitter · 29/09/2014 15:29

I agree Tess is a terrible presenter. Think they should have tried to find someone else.

Claudia looked like she was trying a new look!

dancemom · 29/09/2014 15:38

Claudia tweeted about this something along the lines of

No fringe is bad, fringe is good. Thanks Twitter I love you

maybemyrtle · 29/09/2014 15:50

Lizzie that's exactly the conclusion we came to here too. She did not look like herself on Friday!

AtlanticDrift · 29/09/2014 19:14

I love her fringe. She definitely looked miles better on Saturday night when it was back

glenthebattleostrich · 29/09/2014 19:20

Loved her Saturday look. Friday she just looked like they'd run out of time to finish her make up!

Agree Tess is awful. I'd love to see Claudia and Zoe ball presenting.

TSSDNCOP · 29/09/2014 22:32

The Friday night experiment was not good.

The pink dress made her look like she'd been in Marje Simpsons wardrobe.

Saturday bravo! Nailed it and bloody funny too.

Twinklestein · 29/09/2014 22:36

I'm so relieved Bruce is gone, but I want there to be a bloke on it too, it feels to female-dominated now. I feel like the male and female contestants and viewers should be represented...
