Brown leather jacket

I've been looking for a soft brown leather jacket and come across this one:

www.massimodutti.com/gb/en/women/leather-jackets/view-all/contrasting-leather-jacket-c911157p4525901.html?colorId=716

Is it going to date quickly, or is it a classic design (I'm mid 40s and have made a few mistakes recently by buying too "fashiony")?

Also I've never bought from Massimo Dutti and I don't want to travel to my nearest store if the quality is iffy?

Oh, I like that. I think it's pretty classic, and the contrast collar thing is more a quirky detail than a "current fashion" thing, IYKWIM. The collar is the one thing I'd be worried about getting tired of, mind.

Massimo Dutti quality seems good from browsing the store, though it's not somewhere I've ever bought anything - I think the products en masse look a bit too "Would you like to dress like an Italian tourist?".

Yes the pale collar worries me a little. Think I might have to make the effort to go and see it for real.

It's basically just a biker jacket.

Biker jackets are very now, so at some point they will be very then, but they will always be a classic. It depends how much you care...

I have a tan leather jacket from Massimo Dutti and it's gorgeous, very soft leather and is great quality.
