I'm sick of M&s and Debenhams but at 6 foot and a size 18 (a real one not just a big 16) where can i get smart but interesting clothes that don't cost the earth?

I love wearing dresses but they need to be respectable as am a teacher. (Head of dept in a school trying to raise smartness)

Mango have just started doing plus (sorry hate that phrase)range.
Lovely stuff but quite pricey compared to their main range. I get stuff from H&m but then my work is smart but not suity.
How smart do you need?

What's your budget?

This is lovely.

loose fit would be good with simple heels

would be good with a cropped jacket

The Ann Harvey range at Bon Marche might be worth a look. I was in there shopping with my friend who is a size 20 and we found loads of gorgeous things, but they were way too long for her (she's about 5'5).

Have a look at the Mary Portas range for House of Fraser, I think the clothes go up to a size 20 or 22 and they are gorgeous.
