I need to buy a new eye cream - is there anything you swear by? I've tried high end - la prairie, Estée Lauder, bobby brown and also high street - boots no 7; l'oreal etc. They've all been ok but nothing particularly special. I'm 44, eyes aren't too baggy but I'm starting to get dark circles. I already drink loads of water, get enough sleep, eat well etc.
Please tell me your eye cream holy grails! Budget wise I can afford up to £50.

Have you tried haemorrhoid cream? It's good for wrinkles, bags and puffiness. I use it a few times a week overnight.

They don't work. If they did no one would have wrinkles or dark circles.

Use a good concealer.

No cream can change the colour of your skin unless you want to lighten it like Michael Jackson.

I think "eye cream" is just regular moisturiser in different packaging, usually claiming to contain ingredients that are soothing or "tightening."

It is usually thicker and richer than normal moisturiser isn't it?

The theory that it can't work because people still have wrinkles doesn't stack up I'm afraid. Maybe the good ones reduce them?

I've found simply ensuring skin is well moisturised is key.

Other than the bum cream I use original Nivea overnight, lots around my eyes and a lighter no oil Nivea in the day as the original is a bit too heavy - I give up with expensive brands, I've tried lots and always go back to good old cheap Nivea.
It gives me plumper, suedey feeling skin and leaves it soft - for the price I can't argue.
