What colours are you gpoing to be wearing on your nails this winter? I've gone for a deep berry colour the last 2 years but I'm getting a bit fed up. this is the brand I usually buy - what looks good on there?

Fuzzy Navel
Cool Breeze
Rose Gold

Not too dark - winter is dark enough, but also not too brash.

I'm never sure what to wear with grey nails - I always feel I need to be wearing grey or black for them to coordinate. Am I odd?

Yes, I was going to say warm terracotta shades, which is approximately what Alpacacino has picked out, but I like these more for autumn. For the dead of winter I like sparkly dark reddish black, navy, and the occasional party glitter red. Jessica has a lovely forest green new out which I can't wait to try but I mainly do gels so need to see if they do that one

Actually I love the look of Rock my Emerald on that page

I'd think cool pastel colours would go with grey nails, pinks and baby blue and white/cream. Also red. But no green or yellow.

I'm planning on wearing dark blue colours, dark grey tones (I have a nice holographic one that I love), berry, red and purples. Maybe some green as well. Might throw a gold top coat on as well.

I've just bought the Chanel Atmosphere and Orage nail polishes so I assume I'll be wearing them a bit.

Grey nails go with everything - they look awesome with jeans and a jumper, look great with a smarter look and look brilliant if dressed up for a party. Grey goes with all colours.

Ahhh maybe that's it then - I don't really have any pastels in my wardrobe. I tend to stay away from lighter colours being a pear as they make my arse look huge!

I was given some metallic teal-y green and its surprisingly wearable

Lndnmummy · 26/09/2014 19:41

I love a classic red for winter. Not too burgendy but red. I wear alot of fark suits/dresses for work and I love a red well manicured hand to go with it.

Lndnmummy · 26/09/2014 19:41

Sorry dark suits/dresses

Lndnmummy · 26/09/2014 19:42

Oh and the "greige" colours are nuce too

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost · 26/09/2014 20:16

I don't really use colors by season. I just have every nail color possible but winter colors are I would say are Red Navy orange burgendy silver gold brown.

sweetheart · 28/09/2014 21:40

I can't pull off greens or reds. I feel like Grotbags with green nails and far too vixen with red. I work in a male dominated industry and red would honestly just give way to too many innuendos - yes even in 2014
