Help !! Pulas's Choice 2% BHA gel causing more bumps :(

Hi all,

I recently started using Paula's Choice 2% BHA gel as it was recommending on here for getting rid of blackheads. It hasn't got rid of my blackheads, but it has brought them up... making it easier to squeeze them out.

However, I have started getting loads of bumps on my chin and some even on my left cheek. They aren't pimples, just bumps under the skin. I know spots on the chin are hormone related, but it just feels like too much of a coincidence that this is happening since I started using the BHA gel...

Did anyone else experience this ? Is it just bringing out impurities and I need. to be patient ?

This was supposed to solve all my skin issues and get me back to my clear glowy pre-pregnancy skin... gelling really low about my skin Sad Sad

TIA

I. Tried Paula's stuff and many others to get my skin under control post pregnancy and through early menopause.

Eventually and it was a good 5 years of expensive eventually I worked out I was just doing too much to my skin.
Too many scrubs, enzymes etc etc
I have scars like craters from years of spots and blackheads.

So cut out everything that could irritate.
Now use gentle cleansers, my hero product Cetaphil, and Sudocreme on spots. Then Avene to moisturise, gentle, gentle, gentle and it's worked for me.

Thanks Zanzi

Now that you mention it, I have gone a bit crasy on products in order to sort out my skin... maybe going back to simple natural products is the answer ...
